Description
The npm package polygon-toolkit-validator version 1.1.2 is a malicious typosquatting package that impersonates a legitimate web3/polygon validator library. It exfiltrates caller-supplied data and cryptographic material to a hardcoded third-party server without user consent. The package exports functions that encode and send input data and cryptographic random bytes to an attacker-controlled endpoint, potentially exposing sensitive keys and secrets. Any system with this package installed should be considered fully compromised.
