Description
The npm package tania-klentik26-sukiwir contains malicious code linked to the tea.xyz token reward campaign that flooded npm with over 15,000 spam packages in 2024. This malware uses autopublish scripts to generate and publish derivative packages with randomized Indonesian-themed names, manipulating package metadata to remove private flags and increment version numbers. The continuous republishing pollutes the npm registry and inflates developer reputation scores for token rewards.
