Description
The npm package umi-bubursumsum54-riris is part of a large-scale malicious campaign linked to tea.xyz token rewards. It contains autopublish scripts that automatically generate and publish numerous derivative packages with randomized Indonesian-themed names. The malicious code modifies package.json files to remove private flags and alters version numbers to enable continuous republishing. This activity floods the npm registry with spam packages, aiming to inflate developer reputation scores fraudulently.
