Description

The npm package vera-serabi34-sukiwir contains malicious code linked to the tea.xyz token reward campaign that flooded npm with over 15,000 spam packages in 2024. The package includes autopublish scripts that automatically generate and publish derivative packages with randomized Indonesian-themed names. The malicious payload modifies package.json files to remove private flags, alters version numbers, and continuously republishes variants to inflate developer reputation scores for the tea protocol token rewards. This activity pollutes the npm registry with spam and potentially deceptive packages.
