What to do
AI-suggested
Since the device is not a cloud service, remediation depends on the vendor releasing an update. Until a fix is provided, restrict network access to the affected device and monitor for suspicious activity related to the `new_password` parameter in network requests. Check the vendor advisory for updates on patch availability.
Description
Multiple OS command injection vulnerabilities exist in the swctrl functionality of Planet WGR-500 version 1.3411b190912. These vulnerabilities can be triggered by sending a specially crafted network request containing the `new_password` parameter, allowing arbitrary command execution on the device.
