Description

Node-RED's local-filesystem library storage module has a path traversal vulnerability in the getLibraryEntry() and saveLibraryEntry() functions. Authenticated users can exploit this by supplying crafted path parameters to read or write arbitrary files outside the intended library directory. This can lead to remote code execution if write access is available. This vulnerability is distinct from a previously fixed traversal issue in Node-RED and currently has no confirmed patch.
