Description
A vulnerability in the NVIDIA Display Driver for Linux allows an attacker to cause an incorrect numeric type conversion, resulting in a heap buffer overflow. Exploitation could lead to denial of service, privilege escalation, information disclosure, data tampering, and code execution. Multiple versions of the NVIDIA graphics drivers, including legacy 304 series and others on Ubuntu platforms, are affected. Fixes have been released in updated driver versions.
