AI-suggested

A fix is available in picklescan version 0.0.34 and later. Users should upgrade to version 0.0.34 or newer to ensure detection of the _operator.methodcaller function and prevent evasion of malicious pickle payloads. No other mitigation is indicated.

Description

picklescan versions before 0.0.34 do not detect the _operator.methodcaller built-in function when scanning pickle files for malicious code. This allows attackers to craft malicious pickle payloads that evade detection and execute arbitrary code upon loading with pickle.load().
