AI-suggested

Upgrade pypdf to version 6.21.3 or later to apply the official fix. If immediate upgrade is not possible, apply the changes from pull request #4265 as a temporary workaround. No other mitigations are specified.

Description

A vulnerability in pypdf prior to version 6.21.3 allows an attacker to craft a malicious PDF that triggers large memory usage when loading an invalid dictionary in strict mode. This can lead to denial of service due to resource exhaustion. The issue has been fixed in pypdf version 6.21.3.
