A fix is available in rclone version 1.75.2. Users should upgrade to version 1.75.2 or later to remediate this vulnerability. No other mitigation or temporary workaround is indicated in the provided data.
Description
Rclone versions before 1.75.2 have a path traversal vulnerability in the serve webdav feature. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to write files outside the intended served root directory by using unvalidated '..' path components. Attackers can exploit this by sending MKCOL /.. requests to create virtual file system nodes, then use PUT, MOVE, COPY, or MKCOL methods to create, overwrite, or delete files belonging to other tenants.
