AI-suggested

Red Hat has released security updates for dpdk in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 and 10 that address these vulnerabilities. Users should apply the official patches provided in the Red Hat Advisory RHSA-2026:94629. Detailed update instructions are available at https://access.redhat.com/articles/11258. No additional mitigation steps are indicated beyond applying the official fixes.

Description

Multiple security vulnerabilities have been identified in the dpdk packages of Red Hat Enterprise Linux versions 9 and 10. These vulnerabilities include various memory corruption issues such as buffer overflows, use-after-free, type confusion, and out-of-bounds writes triggered by guest interactions in the vhost and vhost-crypto components. The issues could potentially lead to host heap overflows and other memory safety violations. Red Hat has released security updates addressing these flaws.
