Description
A security vulnerability (CVE-2026-87766) in bubblewrap, a core execution engine for unprivileged containers, allows symlink traversal via /oldroot. This flaw permits writing files outside the intended sandbox during setup, potentially compromising container isolation. Red Hat has issued an important security update for bubblewrap in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.2 to address this issue.
