Description
A denial of service vulnerability (CVE-2026-59886) exists in the pyasn1 component used by fence-agents, which are scripts managing remote power control for cluster devices in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.8. This flaw allows crafted ASN.1 REAL values to cause a denial of service condition. Red Hat has issued a security update to address this issue in fence-agents packages for various Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.8 variants.
