What to do

AI-suggested

Red Hat has released updated FreeRDP packages for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Extended Lifecycle Support that address these vulnerabilities. Users should apply these official security updates as detailed in Red Hat's advisory and article (https://access.redhat.com/articles/11258). No additional mitigation steps are indicated beyond applying the provided patches.

Description

Multiple security vulnerabilities have been identified and fixed in FreeRDP, a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) used by the xfreerdp client. These include arbitrary code execution via malicious RDP files, denial of service through crafted WindowIcon async messages, HTTP proxy request injection via redirection, and remote code execution or denial of service via an audio input integer overflow. The vulnerabilities affect Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Extended Lifecycle Support versions of FreeRDP. Red Hat has released security updates addressing these issues.
