What to do

AI-suggested

Red Hat has released updated FreeRDP packages for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 and its variants that address these vulnerabilities. Users should apply the security update as detailed in the Red Hat advisory (https://access.redhat.com/articles/11258) to remediate these issues. No additional mitigation steps are indicated beyond applying the official patches.

Description

Multiple security vulnerabilities have been identified in FreeRDP, a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). These include arbitrary code execution via malicious RDP files, denial of service through crafted WindowIcon async messages, HTTP proxy request injection via redirection, and remote code execution or denial of service via an audio input integer overflow. Red Hat has issued an important security update for FreeRDP in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 to address these issues.
