What to do

AI-suggested

Red Hat has made a new satellite/iop-advisor-frontend-rhel9 container image generally available. However, no specific fix or patch for CVE-2026-45623 has been released yet. Users should monitor Red Hat advisories for updates and consider deploying the updated container image as recommended in Red Hat Satellite documentation. No additional mitigations are specified by Red Hat at this time.

Description

CVE-2026-45623 is a vulnerability in PostCSS, a CSS processing tool used in Red Hat Satellite's Red Hat Lightspeed component. The flaw allows an attacker to provide specially crafted CSS input with malicious source map comments, leading to arbitrary local file reads and potential disclosure of sensitive information. It can also be exploited to cause a denial of service by targeting large files. Red Hat has made a new container image available but has not yet released a specific fix for this vulnerability.
