Description
A security update for the Red Hat kernel-rt package addresses a vulnerability in the uvcvideo driver where frames of type UVC_VS_UNDEFINED were improperly parsed. This update prevents parsing such frames in the uvc_parse_format function, mitigating the associated security risk. The update applies to Red Hat Enterprise Linux for Real Time 7 Extended Lifecycle Support. Systems must be rebooted after applying the update for it to take effect.
