Red Hat has released official patches for these vulnerabilities as part of the kernel update for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10.0 Extended Update Support. Users should apply the update following Red Hat's guidance at https://access.redhat.com/articles/11258 and reboot the system to ensure the fixes take effect.
Description
Multiple use-after-free vulnerabilities and a denial of service issue have been identified in the Linux kernel packages used by Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10.0 Extended Update Support. These flaws affect various kernel components including page_pool, scsi lpfc, eventpoll, drm/xe, and smc subsystems. Red Hat has released a security advisory with updates to address these issues. The update requires a system reboot to take effect.
