Description
This advisory addresses two security vulnerabilities in the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.6 kernel live patch module for kernel-5.14.0-570.17.1.el9_6. The vulnerabilities include a use-after-free (UAF) in the eventpoll subsystem (CVE-2026-46242) and a use-after-free in the KVM x86 shadow paging due to unexpected role handling (CVE-2026-53359).
