Description
Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4.18.10 includes a security update addressing a Jinja2 sandbox breakout vulnerability (CVE-2025-27516) through the attr filter selecting the format method. This vulnerability could allow an attacker to escape the Jinja sandbox, potentially leading to unauthorized code execution or other security issues. Red Hat has released updated RPM packages and container images to fix this issue and advises all OpenShift Container Platform 4.18 users to upgrade accordingly.
