AI-suggested
Red Hat has released updated packages for the pki-deps:10.6 module in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 that fix these vulnerabilities. Users should apply the security update as detailed in the Red Hat advisory RHSA-2026:90909 and the referenced article https://access.redhat.com/articles/11258. Applying these updates will remediate the denial of service issues. No additional mitigation steps are indicated by the vendor.
Description
Red Hat has issued a security advisory for the pki-deps:10.6 module in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 addressing multiple denial of service vulnerabilities in the Jackson JSON processing libraries. The vulnerabilities include unbounded StringBuilder growth during malformed token processing, quadratic forward-reference completion, and excessively long JSON property names. These flaws could be exploited to cause denial of service conditions in applications using these libraries.
