Technical Analysis

The vulnerability CVE-2024-50379 affects the Tomcat servlet engine component used in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.2 Extended Update Support. It is a remote code execution vulnerability caused by a TOCTOU issue during JSP compilation. This flaw allows an attacker to potentially execute arbitrary code remotely.
