AI-suggested

A fixed version of the grafana13.1 package is available: 13.1.1-0.2.hum1 for aarch64 and x86_64 architectures. Users of affected Red Hat Hardened Images RPMs should apply this update promptly to mitigate the timing attack vulnerability. No alternative mitigations or workarounds are specified in the advisory.

Description

Red Hat has issued a security advisory for Red Hat Hardened Images RPMs, including an update to grafana13.1 packages. The advisory addresses two CVEs, notably CVE-2026-56764, which is a timing attack vulnerability in the Hono basicAuth and bearerAuth middlewares. This vulnerability allows a remote attacker to infer valid credentials by measuring response times due to non-constant-time string comparison. The update provides a bug fix and enhancement to mitigate this issue.
