Description

A vulnerability (CVE-2026-48617) was found in Node.js's experimental Permission Model that allows bypassing permission enforcement due to improper path validation in the process.report.writeReport() function. This flaw permits code running with restricted permissions to write diagnostic reports outside the allowed paths, potentially exposing sensitive information.
