AI-suggested

Red Hat has released updated packages (haproxy-3.0.30-0.1.hum1) for Red Hat Hardened Images RPMs that fix this vulnerability. Users should apply this update as soon as possible to remediate the issue. No other mitigations or workarounds are specified in the advisory.

Description

A vulnerability in HAProxy allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by sending a truncated HTTP/2 PING frame. The server fails to properly handle the incomplete frame, causing worker threads to spin indefinitely and exhaust CPU resources, potentially making the service unresponsive. Red Hat has released an update for Red Hat Hardened Images RPMs including haproxy-3.0.30-0.1.hum1 to address this issue.
