No additional mitigation steps are indicated or required beyond applying the update.
Description
Red Hat has issued a security advisory for Ruby 3.3 addressing denial of service vulnerabilities in the resolv gem (CVE-2025-24294) and the REXML library (CVE-2025-58767). These vulnerabilities could allow an attacker to cause a denial of service condition. The update is rated as having a moderate security impact. Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 users are advised to apply the provided updates to mitigate these issues.
