A security update is available in Red Hat Satellite version 6.17.6 that addresses these vulnerabilities. Users should apply this update after ensuring all previously released errata relevant to their systems have been applied. Detailed update instructions are available in the official Red Hat Satellite documentation. No additional mitigation steps are indicated by the vendor advisory.
Description
Red Hat Satellite 6.17.0 through 6.17.5 contains multiple security vulnerabilities including an OS command injection via ct_location and fcct_location parameters, unbounded read in Rack::Request form parsing leading to potential memory exhaustion, and a Rack QueryParser params_limit bypass via semicolon-separated parameters. These issues are addressed in the Red Hat Satellite 6.17.6 update.
