AI-suggested

Apply the security update provided by the SUSE Product Security Team for Ghostscript to remediate these vulnerabilities. Since this is an official security update, deploying the patch is the recommended mitigation.

Description

This security update for Ghostscript addresses two vulnerabilities: a sandbox bypass via Type 5 shading out-of-bounds write and procedure-stream use-after-free (CVE-2026-101258), and a stack-based buffer overflow in the pdfwrite device triggered by crafted font data (CVE-2026-103226). Both issues could potentially allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code or bypass security restrictions.
