Users of the affected system should implement input sanitization and output encoding in the Profile Section to prevent injection of malicious scripts. Monitor vendor advisories for any forthcoming patches or official fixes.
Description
Simple User Management System with PHP-MySQL v1.0 contains a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in its Profile Section. The vulnerability arises because the system does not properly sanitize user input, allowing attackers to inject and execute arbitrary JavaScript code when the input is rendered in a user's browser. This can lead to limited confidentiality and integrity impacts but does not affect availability.
