Since the vulnerability requires administrator interaction, site administrators should avoid clicking untrusted links and monitor for updates from the plugin vendor.
Description
The SH Contextual Help plugin for WordPress contains a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in all versions up to and including 3.2.1. The flaw arises from missing or incorrect nonce validation in the sh_contextual_help_dashboard_widget() function. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to potentially update plugin settings and inject malicious scripts if they can trick an administrator into clicking a crafted link.
