We are losing the AI race in security

Discussion
This content discusses the competitive disadvantage faced by defenders in cybersecurity due to adversaries using uncensored, abliterated AI language models that automate reconnaissance, phishing, and exploit development. The post highlights the availability of such uncensored models through Silk Compute, which removes refusal behaviors and content filters, enabling more aggressive and unrestricted AI usage. No specific vulnerability or exploit is described.

The people we defend against are running abliterated models locally, meanwhile I ask for a poc against my own lab box and get told it's against policy.
The other side automates recon, phishing and exploit dev with abliterated models, and we're stuck rephrasing prompts. So I switched to abliterated models myself (deepseek v4.1 flash and glm 5.3 flash with the refusal behavior stripped out).
Full disclosure, I built silkcompute to serve these because I couldn't find anyone hosting them properly, so I'm biased.
Curious where you all land on this
