0 A Kubernetes tenant with create permission on Console custom resources can set spec.containers.api.spec.image to an arbitrary container image. The operator deploys this image into a pod whose ServiceAccount is bound via ClusterRoleBinding to a ClusterRole granting cluster-wide get/list/watch on all Strimzi CRDs (including KafkaUsers), patch on Kafkas/KafkaRebalances, and cluster-monitoring-view. The attacker's code reads the projected SA token and gains cross-tenant Strimzi control-plane read+write access. 0 The StreamsHub Console operator acts as a confused deputy: a Kubernetes tenant with permission to create a Console custom resource can set spec.kafkaClusters[].credentials.kafkaUser.namespace to any namespace. The operator, running with cluster-wide Secrets RBAC, reads the victim-namespace KafkaUser Secret (SASL credentials or TLS private keys) and writes the plaintext material into a Secret in the attacker's namespace. No same-namespace check or allowlist exists anywhere in the code path. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 10/20/2026, 11:30:09 UTC Added: 10/20/2026, 11:34:07 UTC |
0 CVE-2026-62378 is a critical stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the RustFS Console web management interface. It affects versions from 0.1.7 up to but not including 0.1.10. The vulnerability arises because certain components render HTML content uploaded as .pdf files, allowing malicious scripts to execute. This can lead to exposure of sensitive administrator credentials including AccessKeyId, SecretAccessKey, and SessionToken. The issue is a regression of a previous vulnerability (CVE-2026-27822) and is fixed in version 0.1.10. 0 Console is a network used to control Gorilla Tag mods' users and other users on the network. Prior to version 2.8.0, a path traversal vulnerability exists where complicated combinations of backslashes and periods can be used to escape the Gorilla Tag path and write to unwanted directories. This issue has been patched in version 2.8.0. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 11/25/2025, 22:54:24 UTC Added: 11/25/2025, 23:01:58 UTC |
