The flaw arises because stack names are only validated on write operations, but not on read or delete paths, enabling traversal sequences to access arbitrary directories. This can disclose sensitive environment and Compose files and delete directories if they contain valid Compose files. Instances with disabled authentication expose these operations without login. The vulnerability has a high severity with a CVSS score of 8.7 and affects dockge versions up to 1.5.0.
