CVE-2026-48007: CWE-200: Exposure of Sensitive Information to an Unauthorized Actor in element-hq element-callCVE-2026-48007 0 Element Call versions 0.5.17 through 0.19.3 exposed sensitive information by sending full URLs, including encryption passwords, to a PostHog analytics server when analytics were enabled. This could compromise call confidentiality if an attacker accessed both the analytics data and encrypted media streams. The vulnerability does not affect embedded Element Call packages used in other Element applications. The issue is fixed in version 0.19.4. Users can opt out of analytics or admins can disable PostHog analytics as workarounds. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 08/07/2026, 19:32:00 UTC Added: 08/07/2026, 19:42:01 UTC |
