CVE-2024-50566 is a high-severity OS command injection vulnerability affecting multiple versions of Fortinet FortiManager and FortiManager Cloud. It allows an authenticated remote attacker with high privileges to execute unauthorized code or commands via specially crafted FGFM requests. The flaw exists due to improper neutralization of special elements in OS commands. Exploitation does not require user interaction but does require authentication. The vulnerability impacts confidentiality, integrity, and availability of affected systems. No known exploits in the wild have been reported yet.
