0 MPXJ, an open source library for project plan files, has an XML External Entity (XXE) vulnerability in versions from 5.5.5 up to but not including 16.4.1. The MerlinReader component parses XML from a database column with default settings that allow external entity processing. This can lead to reading arbitrary local files, though the library's handling reduces the likelihood of file content disclosure. The issue is fixed in version 16.4.1. 0 MPXJ, an open source library for reading and writing project plans, contains a path traversal vulnerability (CWE-22) in versions from 7.3.0 up to but not including 16.5.0. This flaw allows an attacker to craft Primavera P3 PRX or SureTrak STX files that cause MPXJ to write files to arbitrary filesystem locations. The issue is resolved in version 16.5.0.
