CVE-2026-54386: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') in marimo-team marimoCVE-2026-54386 0 marimo versions prior to 0.23.9 contain a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the notebook page. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary JavaScript by exploiting improper escaping of single quotes in the file query parameter. The injected script executes without Content-Security-Policy restrictions in the victim's marimo server origin. Attackers can bypass the 404 check by crafting a malicious link with a payload starting with __new__.
