CVE-2026-73644: CWE-285: Improper Authorization in OpenIdentityPlatform OpenDJCVE-2026-73644 0 CVE-2026-73644 is a critical improper authorization vulnerability in OpenIdentityPlatform's OpenDJ LDAP directory service. Versions prior to 5.1.2 allow an authenticated user with the PROXIED_AUTH privilege to assume unauthorized identities due to insufficient evaluation of proxy ACI scope in the SASL PLAIN authorization identity path. The issue is fixed in version 5.1.2 by returning INVALID_CREDENTIALS before password verification when the target authorization identity is not permitted.
