0 CVE-2026-44214 is a medium severity vulnerability in the rexxars eventsource-encoder library versions prior to 1.0.2. The issue arises because the library does not sanitize the event or id fields of an EventSourceMessage before serialization, allowing an attacker controlling these fields to inject arbitrary CRLF sequences. This can lead to forged additional Server-Sent Events fields or entire messages on the SSE stream. The vulnerability has a CVSS score of 5.8 and is fixed in version 1.0.2. No known exploits are reported in the wild. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 05/26/2026, 19:34:32 UTC Added: 05/26/2026, 19:42:49 UTC |
