0 YaCy Search Server versions up to 1.941 contain an XML external entity (XXE) injection vulnerability in the SVG, FreeMind, and OpenSearch parsers. These parsers do not disable external entity resolution, allowing attackers to craft malicious documents with DOCTYPE declarations that reference local files. This can cause the crawler to exfiltrate local file contents into the searchable index. The vulnerability has a high severity score of 8.7.
