CVE-2026-56865: CWE-347: Improper Verification of Cryptographic Signature in Go toolchain cmd/goCVE-2026-56865 0 CVE-2026-56865 is a vulnerability in the Go toolchain's cmd/go module that allowed a malicious GOPROXY to forge up to two sumdb tiles. This flaw enabled bypassing the GOSUMDB verification, permitting attacker-controlled module content to be cached locally undetected. The issue stems from improper verification of cryptographic signatures (CWE-347). Users can check if they were affected by removing certain module files and running 'go mod tidy'.
