0 CVE-2026-47321 is a vulnerability in Apache MINA's CompressionFilter class where decompression of highly compressed data can lead to excessive memory consumption. The filter does not limit the size of inflated data, allowing attackers to cause application memory exhaustion through data amplification. The Apache Software Foundation has introduced controls to limit decompressed size and compression ratio, mitigating this risk. Users are advised to upgrade and configure CompressionFilter with these new parameters to prevent potential denial of service.
