It affects the startBrowserProcess function in the openBrowser.js file of the react-dev-utils component. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands. The issue was reported early to the project, but no response or fix has been provided yet. The vulnerability has a medium severity with a CVSS score of 6.9. Exploit code is publicly available, but no known exploitation in the wild has been reported.
