An integer underflow vulnerability in GStreamer's MP4/MOV demuxer (qtdemux_parse_theora_extension function) can lead to out-of-bounds writes and potential arbitrary code execution. The flaw arises from improper handling of a size variable that underflows and is cast to a large unsigned integer, causing insufficient memory allocation and subsequent memory corruption. This can overwrite critical memory structures and hijack function pointers. The vulnerability is fixed in version 1.24.10.
