0 A critical authentication bypass vulnerability (CVE-2026-43512) exists in Apache Tomcat's digest authentication mechanism. This flaw allows remote attackers to bypass authentication restrictions. The issue affects multiple Tomcat versions from 6.0.37 through 11.0.21, including several Ubuntu package versions. Official patches are available in Tomcat versions 11.0.22, 10.1.55, and 9.0.118, and corresponding Ubuntu package updates have been released.
