GitPython versions up to 3.1.57 contain a vulnerability where the unsafe git option guard can be bypassed by using a combination of a single-character keyword argument and setting split_single_char_options to false. This allows an attacker to smuggle a short-option token that git interprets as a command execution option, resulting in arbitrary OS command execution. The issue is an incomplete fix of a previous vulnerability and affects all guarded methods that forward kwargs with this configuration.
