A sophisticated phishing campaign leverages DocuSign-themed lures to trick victims into installing legitimate remote management software including MeshAgent, ScreenConnect, and SimpleHelp. The operation employs a reusable web kit featuring staged delivery through simulated document loading interfaces, user-agent based targeting that filters for Windows systems while blocking Edge browsers, and Cloudflare Turnstile verification. The campaign demonstrates operational maturity with separate Windows and macOS delivery paths, real-time victim telemetry via Telegram, and VBS deployment scripts that disable Windows Defender and establish persistence through service installation. Active from May through July 2026, the infrastructure rotates across multiple domains using consistent URL patterns to evade detection while abusing trusted IT tools for persistent access.

Since mid-2025, China-aligned threat actor TA416 has resumed targeting European government and diplomatic organizations after a two-year operational shift to Southeast Asia. The campaigns primarily focused on diplomatic missions to the EU and NATO, using web bug reconnaissance and malware delivery through compromised accounts and attacker-controlled infrastructure. In March 2026, TA416 expanded operations to Middle Eastern diplomatic entities following the Iran conflict outbreak. Throughout this period, the actor continuously evolved infection chains, utilizing fake Cloudflare Turnstile pages, OAuth redirect abuse, and C# project files to deliver a customized PlugX backdoor via DLL sideloading. The group employed both broad reconnaissance campaigns and targeted malware delivery, demonstrating sophisticated tradecraft including use of re-registered legitimate domains and cloud infrastructure for command and control operations.

A new phishing campaign is targeting TikTok for Business accounts using adversary-in-the-middle (AitM) techniques. The attackers employ Cloudflare Turnstile to evade detection and create convincing lookalike pages impersonating TikTok for Business or Google Careers. Victims are tricked into clicking malicious links, leading to credential theft. The campaign aims to seize control of business accounts, which can be used for malvertising and malware distribution. Multiple domains are involved in hosting the phishing pages. Additionally, a separate campaign using SVG file attachments to deliver malware has been observed in Venezuela, with potential links to BianLian ransomware activity.

Tykit is a newly identified phishing kit targeting Microsoft 365 accounts, active since May 2025. It uses SVG files as delivery vectors and a multi-stage attack chain to mimic Microsoft login pages and steal credentials. The kit employs evasion techniques including Cloudflare Turnstile anti-bot protection and basic anti-debugging measures. It primarily targets industries such as finance, construction, IT, professional services, government, and telecom, with victims globally including the EMEA region. Stolen credentials are exfiltrated via API calls to attacker-controlled servers. The campaign requires user interaction through phishing but does not require prior authentication. This threat poses a medium severity risk due to its potential impact on confidentiality and the widespread use of Microsoft 365 in Europe.

A recent attack mimicking ClickFix tactics used a fake AnyDesk installer to deploy MetaStealer. The infection chain involved a fake Cloudflare Turnstile lure, Windows search protocol, and an MSI package disguised as a PDF. Unlike traditional ClickFix attacks, this variant redirected users to Windows File Explorer instead of the Run dialog box. The attack cleverly grabbed the victim's hostname and ultimately aimed to drop MetaStealer, a commodity infostealer known for harvesting credentials and stealing files. This incident highlights the evolving nature of social engineering attacks and the need for updated security measures and user education.
