Shared Claude Chats Meet ClickFix 0 A malware campaign named ClickFix abused Anthropic's Claude platform by distributing malicious shared chat links that deployed MacSync Stealer targeting macOS users. The campaign used malvertising via paid Google ads to lure victims searching for Claude-related terms to fake 'Apple Support' chats containing obfuscated installation commands. These commands triggered a multi-stage infection chain that steals browser credentials, password manager data, cryptocurrency wallets, sensitive files, and system information. The campaign ran from June 12-19, 2026, with Russian-language code comments suggesting Russian-speaking threat actors. Domains used mimicked U.S. local service themes to appear legitimate.
