Two moderate severity vulnerabilities have been identified and fixed in the gstreamer1 packages used in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 and Red Hat In-Vehicle Operating System. These include an integer overflow in EXIF metadata parsing (CVE-2024-4453) and a stack-based buffer overflow in AV1 video parsing (CVE-2024-0444). The vulnerabilities affect streaming media framework components that process media data. Updates addressing these issues are available for multiple Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 variants and Red Hat In-Vehicle OS versions. No known exploits are reported in the wild.
