CVE-2024-23243 is a privacy vulnerability in Apple iOS and iPadOS where an app may be able to read sensitive location information due to insufficient redaction of private data in log entries. This issue affects devices from iPhone XS and later, various iPad Pro models, iPad Air 3rd generation and later, iPad 6th generation and later, and iPad mini 5th generation and later. Apple addressed this vulnerability in iOS 17.4 and iPadOS 17.4 by improving private data redaction in logs. The CVSS score is 4.3, indicating a medium severity level.
